Thunderstorm--August 1, 2012

Here is a collection of photos taken of an approaching thunderstorm on the first day of August 2012. The thunderstorm was part of a line of slow moving thunderstorms that dumped heavy rain from the Jersey Shore to North Central Jersey to Staten Island, Queens, and Brooklyn. Parts of Queens received up to 2 inches of rain in about an hour. South Plainfield received 0.38 inches from the downpours.
